Designed to expand food and cooking knowledge, our classes are engaging and interactive, and presented by a professional team of chefs and educators. The Great Lakes Culinary Center gives the community access to technical cooking instruction under the guidance of a professional instructor.

Cooking Experiences Available:


This format works well for any group size. Guests can be seated alongside the beautiful kitchen bar, or arrange tables in any seating configuration with up to 180 guests. Led by a professional Chef, groups will learn new techniques, recipes, and tricks to make extraordinary meals.

Interactive Experiences

For people who love to cook, this is the best way to be a working part of a professional kitchen in action!  Work alongside the instructor to create beautiful dishes that everyone can enjoy together. Each class is presented in an interactive format, allowing guests hands on experiences with time available to practice new techniques. This style works best for groups of 30 or less.

“Chopped” Challenges

It’s a cooking competition that’s all about skill, speed and ingenuity where teams (of 6 or less) will compete before a panel of ‘judges’ and take everyday items and turn them into an extraordinary three-course meal. Course by course, the teams will be “chopped” from the competition until only one winning team remains.
